Nadine West sent me samples for review. There are affiliate links in this post. All opinions are my own.
Nadine West is a subscription-based clothing and fashion service that caters specifically to women. Upon joining, you will be prompted to provide your size, color preferences, pattern choices, and accessories that you prefer such as scarves and sunglasses.
At a monthly or bi-monthly interval, a dedicated stylist from Nadine West will curate a selection of clothing and accessories based on your style choices and send them directly to you. You will receive a prepaid mailing label and a detailed list of the products, along with their respective costs. You will be charged a nominal fee upfront for shipping which is just under $10.
Once you receive your package, you can try on the items at home and decide which ones you would like to keep and which ones you would like to return. If you decide to keep at least one item, the shipping fee will be deducted from the cost of that item. So, if you keep a $20 item, you will only be charged around $10 for it.
It is important to promptly return any unwanted items within the allotted few days to make your decision. After selecting the items you wish to keep, go to the Nadine West website to rate and review the products received. This feedback will be used by your stylist to curate your next shipment and ensure that it better matches your personal style preferences.
In this post I’ll be reviewing two different bags that I was sent.
Bag #1
This bag included six items.
The top and bottom shown here were both sent in this shipment. The bottoms are a really stretchy, cotton legging that has a slight jean-like look to them in person, although I know they show up as pure black here. I’ve been sent similar leggings from Nadine West before and have kept them. These days, I just have so many leggings that I’ve gotten really picky about what new ones I add. If I needed leggings, I’d keep these, but I don’t, so I decided to pass on them. Also, these are priced at $27.99 which I feel is slightly overpriced. Closer to $20 is what I’d expect to pay for simple leggings like this.
The top is a color that I love! I love purple, and this is one of my favorite shades of purple. The top has pockets which is pretty cute. It almost seems like a tiny dress, though I did check and it is listed as a top not a dress. I don’t really like shirts that are tunic length so I decided to pass on this. It was close though! This top is priced at $33.99 which I thought was a little steep.
The top and bottoms shown here were both sent this shipment. These are different pants from shown above, though it’s hard to tell from the photo, sorry. These are a cheap costume-like material. I really dislike this fabric and I never run in to it in stores. I wish that Nadine West would stop sending clothing of this material as it just doesn’t feel well made and it’s quite itchy/scratchy in my opinion. The bottoms are 37.99 to keep which seems really overpriced to me, too.
The top is a really thin black tank top that has a bit of rouching in the center of the chest to help add some shape to it. It also has slightly flared sections across the shoulders rather than being a simple rectangular shape. I think this top is cute, but I’m a bit hesitant to wear tank tops right now as I’m insecure about my upper arms. As a result, I’m only keeping sleeveless shirts if I REALLY love the top. I really like this, but I don’t love it, so I decided to pass on keeping it. It is $32.99 to keep.
This silver necklace was sent this shipment. It has a long chain with an open hoop and then a collection of tied chains hanging down off the hoop. I think it’s really cute, but I’m not one to wear fashion jewelry like this. I tend to have one set of jewelry that I keep on 24/7 which is pretty basic/simple, except for special occasions like attending a wedding. This doesn’t quite seem dressy enough for a special occasion, and is a bit too much for me to wear regularly so it’s a no-go for me. I do think it’s cute though. It is priced at $34.99
This dress is so soft it’s almost slightly fuzzy, yet it’s thin and lightweight. I like how it comes in at the natural waist. It adds just enough extra style to it vs a regular t-shirt style dress that I feel it looks slightly more ‘put together’ and is more flattering on my body, too. It’s also just so comfy to wear because it’s soft, light and stretchy. This was a keeper for me! It is $39.99.
Overall, this wasn’t a super exciting bag for me as I did only keep one item. I would have kept the leggings if I needed them, but I just really have too many leggings already. The cool thing about Nadine West is, as long as you keep at least one item per bag, you aren’t really out anything as the shipping fee gets taken off the cost of any item you keep.
Bag #2
The top and bottoms were both sent this shipment. I’ll discuss the top in the paragraph below. The bottoms are sort of a burnt-orange leggings. I wear leggings a lot but I like cotton based ones for lounging. These have more elastic or spandex type material in them, so I imagine they’d be better for using to work out in, but they’re less comfortable for lounging. I decided to pass on them, though they felt well made. I just don’t wear this type of leggings regularly. They cost $34.99.
Here is a slightly better photo of the top. It has touched sides that you can manually tie at either hip. Thet op is also fitted. I thought this made it cuter than some other basic tank tops. I am not happy enough with my body currently to enjoy wearing tops like this, so I decided to pass on it although I do like the design. It is $27.99 to keep.
This necklace is really basic and classy looking in my opinion. It’s not really my style though. It is $34.99.
I debated for a while about this dress! It is a slightly thicker material that really does a nice job of holding its own shape rather than clinging to your body. It zips up the back so I needed help getting it on, but I really like the overall shape that it gives. It feels a bit nicer than most summer dresses. I think this would be nice for an office type setting or another slightly dressy occasion…though I don’t have many of those in my life! I ultimately decided not to keep the dress because of the pattern on the fabric. I like florals, but the pattern isn’t the type of floral that I usually go for. I also thought that it having just a couple of spots of blue flowers felt a bit odd and distracting. So close, but not quite a keeper. This is priced at $40.99.
The last item this shipment was this cardigan. It’s very thin and lightweight making it perfect for spring. It’s a really stretchy fabric that is comfortable to wear. I don’t like longer cardians, and I also dislike the split sides that this has, so I decided not to keep it. It is $37.99.
This shipment is a really rare one where I didn’t keep anything! I still enjoyed the overall experience of trying on some clothing that I usually wouldn’t.
Curious to see what Nadine West would send you? You can sign up today to fill out a style quiz. You’ll pay about a $10 shipping fee, and then if you keep at least 1 item from your shipment, that shipping price will come off the price of the item. It’s a fun way to try out new clothing. You only have a few days between the items being delivered and when you need to return items that you don’t wish to keep (but a prepaid shipping label is included). So just remember to be timely about trying on the items and returning what you don’t wish to keep.
I have a custom coupon code for you guys!

I have to say that some of the stuff is really cute……….. BUT being retired I really don’t need a lot of stuff and I may go months before I buy any kind of clothes.

My favorite outfit was the purple top with the black leggings. I thought they were flattering styles.

My favorite is the green dress, it looks great on you! I have been wearing more dresses, especially with warmer weather and I really like the casual look.
This is such a fun subscription idea! I love the purple top and the dress you got in bag one! Those are so pretty on you!
