DREO PolyFan 513S Review

If you’re looking for a fan that looks great and has lots of operation options, we’ve found it!  The PolyFan 513S, a stylish pedestal fan with futuristic features.  It boasts a sleek metallic gray and bronze finish that truly looks like it belongs in a luxury home.  The oscillating swivel fan head sits atop a 37” pole stand. This allows the 9” blade to power air to any corner of the room with both vertical and horizontal adjustability up to 120°.

Assembly / Set Up

Putting the PolyFan 513S together is super simple.  After unboxing and removing all packaging, I literally only had to attach the pole to the base with the included washer and bolt.  Even the tool to do this was included!  Total assembly took less than 60 seconds.

Super Quiet Performance

I’m amazed at how quiet this fan runs.  If it wouldn’t be for the movement, I usually don’t even realize when it’s running because it’s so quiet!  The fan blade’s 1800 rotations per minute quietly power a blast of cool air up to 100 feet away, making the PolyFan 513S capable of cooling large and small rooms with ease.  

Control By App, Voice, Or Remote

The DREO PolyFan 513S is enabled for voice control as well as being compatible with the Dreo app, which allows users to control remotely, even while not at home. The app allows users to toggle speeds or enter different modes including sleep, auto, eco, or turbo modes to guarantee the right output at the right time. In the app, users can remotely adjust the fan’s oscillation and tilt to allow for a steady stream of cold air to always flow in the right direction.

In addition to the Dreo app, the PolyFan 513S has intuitive touchpad control and even includes a remote control, ensuring multiple easy options for adjusting the fan speed, no matter where you are in the room or house.

Final Thoughts

We’re using this fan in our living room because it looks so beautiful and every time I walk past it, I still find myself admiring it.  I also appreciate that it’s fairly lightweight and easy to move around as needed.  It is corded so it does require an outlet to work but most fans do.  Overall, I’m quite impressed with the PolyFan 513S.  The variety of settings as well as range of motion helps it deliver exactly what we need, when we need it.  Yet the size and style is discreet enough that my toddler doesn’t pay much attention to it or play with it.  If you’re on the hunt for a fan, be sure to check this one out.
