We’re starting our smash taco journey with a classic favorite. The Classic Smash Taco is a beautiful blend of simplicity and familiarity. The succulent burger patty, the freshness of the lettuce and tomato, the sharp tang of the pickles, and the creaminess of the cheese – every element plays its part. This is the go-to choice for anyone looking to savor the basics at their very best.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Top with a portion of the lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. Add condiments as per your preference.
- Carefully fold the tortilla around the patty and toppings, forming a taco shape.

I have never heard of a smash taco before. What an interesting concept. The vegan one is speaking to me!
-
I’ve never heard of this, but i like the idea a lot. a little confused though…they say “Cook the patty directly on the tortilla” which would put the meat on top right? then it says “Flip the tortilla with the patty, so the patty is now on top”. If the tortilla is going to get crispy than i would think it’s under the burger, but if you flip it the burger would then be on the bottom…. does it matter which way you start? … I just want to be sure the burger is cooked thoroughly.
These all look so good, it’s a combination of two of my favorite foods. thanks,
-
