Did you know that many teachers have to spend a significant amount of their own money on school supplies? Contest Corner recently posted an eye-opening interview with teachers that goes in-depth about the extent of this issue if you’d like to learn more. Because the need has become so large, the “Clear The List” movement began where teachers share Amazon wishlists on social media and ask for donations. And that’s why the Teacher Feature Blog Hop was created – to host Amazon giveaways that can help clear the list and bring attention to these teachers!

This is a great idea! Teachers pay for so much out of their own funds!
I know a lot of teachers and yes they do use their own money for classroom supplies. A friend likes to give each of student a book ever month. She lets us know on facebook so we can kick in to help. The books don’t cost a lot but each child gets there own each month.
