My mom and stepfather deal with pain on a regular basis. They have tried an assortment of products to help find relief. Some of them have helped and some haven’t. I read about Kailo pain patches and thought it was something that they might be interested in. I told my mom about them and she said she would love to try them. 

I reached out to Kailo and they were happy to send her a pain patch to try. The following are my mom’s words. 

My husband and I (both 68 years of age) have chronic pain and have for several years. Neither of us wants to take an oral medication for this pain so we either do our best to “think it” away or we have some creams and ointments that we use. Our daughter heard of Kailo pain patches and asked if we wanted to try them. Wow, are we ever glad she did! Of course, we jumped at the chance and were not disappointed. 

When the package arrived, it was without the special Kailo adhesive but the instructions said we could get the pain patch to stick to our bodies by using either an ace bandage or some medical adhesive tape. We decided to use the adhesive tape due to the location of our pain and where we would be applying the patch. Since then, we have ordered the Kailo Adhesive sheets and they just arrived in the mail. I am sure they will even increase our fondness for the patches.

The first one of us to try the patches was my husband. He has constant lower back pain which prevents him from doing a lot of activities. Stretching doesn’t help and he won’t do any exercises other than an occasional walk so I was at my wit’s end with all of the complaining. As soon as these patches arrived I read the instructions on where to apply the patch depending on the type and location of the pain. Those instructions were very helpful. You would think, the patch would go on the pain site but that isn’t always the case so make certain you read and follow the instructions Kailo provides.

In my husband’s case, the patch was supposed to go on or near the pain site. I figured it might be like other patches we have tried that come up after about 30 minutes but that wasn’t the case. That patch stayed on for two solid days (and may have stayed there longer) and lasted through multiple showers. …..and the pain totally disappeared. He said he could feel a difference after about 15 minutes of wearing it and it continued to lessen the pain more and more until it was totally gone. He hasn’t worn the patch for several days now and said the pain is starting to come back so we will be applying it again.

With regard to my hip, groin, and thigh pain, I wasn’t sure where to put the patch. I followed the instructions and applied it on my hip/back area and my pain (arthritis, bursitis, and bone spurs) was significantly less. I could even cross my legs while sitting and lately, I haven’t been able to do that due to pain. I would have to manually pick up my right leg to place it over my left. After wearing the patch for an hour or so, I tried crossing my legs and was able to do it with no hands. Lol. What a treat!

The next day, I noticed that my hip pain wasn’t so bad but I had shooting nerve pain in my groin and thigh. I have been using the Kailo pain patch for that but haven’t had quite the same results. The pain lessens but doesn’t totally go away. My guess is that I haven’t found the perfect spot for the patch so I am continuing to move it around.

If you suffer from chronic pain like we do, I highly recommend these Kailo pain patches. They are definitely helping us stay off oral pain medications and allow us to have a much better quality of life. We are able to do things we haven’t been able to do for quite some time or we did them but ended up in pain afterwards. I told a friend about them so she is now trying one of ours to see if it will help her shoulder pain and her partner’s knee pain.
