All of my kids have their own desks…now! Until recently, our five oldest kids had desks to use for school, drawing, and playing. Our youngest is almost two and she was very much noticing that she didn’t have her own space. So when I came across the Simplay3 Creative Kids Art Desk, I thought it would be the perfect solution for her.
Simplay3 Creative Kids Art Desk Review
There are so many reasons why I love the Simplay3 Creative Kids Art Desk. Originally, its bright color palette caught my eye. Once it arrived on our doorstep, I couldn’t wait to get it together for the full effect. Assembly was pretty easy. While we started with hand tools, we did finish up with a battery operated drill. In total, assembly probably took about 15 minutes.
While recommended for ages 3-7, our little one has no problems utilizing her new desk. My favorite feature of this multi-use kids desk is the attached desk chair and floor. Most other kids desks have a separate chair. This tends to result in the child falling off, the chair tipping over, or it just being in the way when not in use. Having it integrated right into the design is ingenious! Plus, it’s perfect for helping catch spills and messes.
Plenty Of Supply Storage
This kids desk is designed to hold a variety of supplies for crafts, sensory activities, artwork, study, or even snack time. There are built in cubbies and storage spaces perfect for helping keep things organized. You can also use the 2 bowls and 2 paint palettes (included) for crafting or snacking.
I have my daughter’s new desk situated right next to mine and she loves to come sit down to draw, color, and play while we both ‘work’ together. It’s so cute!
This desk is extremely sturdy, stable, and well made. The plastic is thick and durable. The seat features grip points and it even rotates a bit; which is great for those extra active -can’t sit still- kiddos.
For even more sensory fun, the floor features a variety of bumps and grooves too. This textured sensory floor is a great help for busy feet.
All in all, I am super happy with the Simplay3 Creative Kids Art Desk and I can’t wait to load it up with a variety of art supplies as that’s what we’ll be getting for Ruby now for Christmas!

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

How neat to have all of their art supplies easy to find in one place. So encouraging for kids to develop their artistic skills.
Cute little art center. I love all the features, especially the rotating seat.
