Walgreens sent me products for inclusion in my gift guide. All opinions are my own.
If you haven’t run into your local Walgreens to see what gifts they have to offer, you’re missing out. Seriously! I don’t always remember that pharmacies sell gifts, but they do. Walgreens in particular has some items that are exclusive to Walgreens stores, so you can find items that you literally can’t find anywhere else! Here is a small selection of what you can find at Walgreens.
The holidays crept up fast this year and I still have some kid gifts to check off my list! Luckily, I recently discovered some fun toys and activity sets at Walgreens that make great small gifts you can pick up last minute.
I’m always on the lookout for toys that encourage imagination and developmental play for little ones. Walgreens sent me a few options that fit the bill at affordable prices.
First is the Playright Ice Cream Set which can currently be purchased for under $15! This 8-piece set comes with magnetic ice cream scoops, pretend cones, a carton and more. Kids can imitate the motions of filling cones with different ice cream flavors. This builds fine motor skills and roleplaying fun.
Similarly, the 28-piece Playright Cash Register set (also under $15!) promotes imaginative play. Kids can pretend to ring up customers while getting in counting, money recognition and coordination practice. Kids who like playing store, will enjoy scanning toy groceries through this functioning cash register!
Walgreens also has the trendy surprise toy Mini Brands. Their Mini Brands Convenience Store set includes tiny replica grocery items to unbox plus shelves and baskets for setting up realistic mini store scenes. It also includes one item that is exclusively found in this convenience store set, which will excite the collectors out there.
Lastly, the Snackles surprise balls feature an adorable plush animal clutching snack items. Kids who like Mini Brands are also likely to enjoy Snackles. These surprise balls feature an adorable plush like a duck or an axolotl, and each one is holding a snack that they’ll recognize from ‘the real world’. For example, Reese or Pringles! These balls are just about the size of most stockings, so if you need a last minute stocking stuffer these will likely work as long as your stockings aren’t smaller/skinnier than average.
Some items that Walgreens sells are exclusive to walgreens. If you know a kiddo who seems to ‘own everything’ or you’re worried about buying them something they already have…shopping Walgreens exclusives can be a good way to decrease the odds of buying them something they already have. Walgreens has some exclusive toys from Squishmallows, Playright and more.
