Thank you to Seavenger for providing me with products to facilitate my blog review. All opinions are 100% my own.

My mom and her husband have a house on the river. One of their favorite activities is to put the boat off their dock and spend the day fishing. When Seavenger asked if I wanted to review some of their water gear, I thought she would be the perfect person to do it. The following are her words.

If you or anyone in your circle of friends/family enjoy water sports, make sure you check out Seavenger. Seavenger has water gear for all sorts of water adventures. They also carry items that have nothing to do with water but they do have our safety in mind. Our family enjoys lots of water activities, be it fishing, paddle boarding, canoeing/kayaking/tubing, or simply splashing around in a pool/lake/river/ocean.

The items we received from Seavenger included a waterproof dry bag, two SPF50 Unisex Rash Guard long-sleeve tops, and a pair of neoprene socks.

My husband and I recently spent the weekend on the river and we were able to use every Seavenger item we received. Talk about perfect timing.

Both my husband and I wore our Trekker Unisex Rash Guard Long Sleeve tops and they were perfect. We launched around 9:00 a.m. for a full day of fishing. The early morning was a bit cloudy and a little on the cool side. Our long-sleeved tops kept us warm enough that we didn’t need to slip on our coats. However, when the sun came out later in the day, we were able to enjoy the benefits of the lightweight spandex material used in the making of these shirts. We were never too hot even when the temps hit 80 and we were in the full sun. I can’t explain how the shirts kept us warm during the cloudy cool morning yet also kept us cool in the heat of the sunny afternoon…but they did. I saw one person in their boat wearing a thin tank top and her shoulders were bright red. I had to be just as comfortable as she was but with the SPF50 in my Seavenger shirt, I didn’t have the red shoulders.

The Zephyr 3mm Neoprene Socks are so colorful and bright. I love them. As soon as they arrived, I put them on and walked around the house using them as slippers. We have tile floors in our home and sometimes they can feel a little too cool on my feet. A light pair of socks and these neoprene socks and my feet were plenty cozy. When we were in the boat, I didn’t want to run the risk of stepping on a fish hook with just the neoprene socks on my feet so I simply slipped my rubber boots on over the socks which kept my feet warm but they didn’t get sweaty inside the rubber boots. I know I’ll be wearing my Seavenger neoprene socks the next time we visit the ocean. Usually, we take our shoes off when walking on the sand and some of those shells/driftwood can be a bit hard on the feet (or the sand a bit too hot). I have a feeling these neoprene socks will be the perfect solution.

Back to our day of boating, because we never know what the weather is going to be like in Oregon, we are always prepared for every extreme possible. This weekend, the morning clouds looked like a rainstorm was a high possibility before the day was over. Thanks to Seavenger for our 20L Seafarer Waterproof Dry Bag, we were able to take two pairs of waterproof pants and 2 coats and easily fit them into the bag with enough room for my cell phone, a hat, and a pair of glasses. Had I remembered our gloves, there would have been room for them in the bag too. Even though our dry bag was sitting on the bottom of the boat in the water our anchor had generated, everything inside it was absolutely dry. Thank you Seavenger.

Seavenger has many other items for you and yours to enjoy. Whether you need a full wetsuit or simply gloves or maybe a snorkeling set, be sure to check out Seavenger.

My family enjoys time at the ocean and lakes. We always have our rash guards even when it is cloudy because it is so easy to get sunburned. The Neoprene socks sound great shell collecting times.
