Well, I thought our mild Minnesota winter had come to a close, but it’s looking like snow and frigid temperatures this upcoming week! While I’m not at all excited about the prospect of snow after getting so little this winter, one thing I do have to look forward to is steaks on the grill cooked right in our kitchen! I was recently introduced to the Newair Luma Electric Steak Grill and it’s the perfect option for anyone who loves grilling but isn’t able to use an outdoor grill year-round.

Right off the bat, I just want to say how classy and sleek this electric grill looks. With a black matte finish, it will go with any decor and while it isn’t a small appliance, it’s completely worth the counter space it takes up! This Newair Luma Grill uses infrared heat so you simply plug it in, wait for it to heat up, and then grill or charbroil away; no need to worry about propane or charcoal but you still get that incredible grilled flavor.

What Comes with the Newair Luma Infrared Steak Grill?

When you open the box, you’ll find the infrared grill with power cord, a cast iron grill plate, a drip pan, and a handle to help you install and remove those last two parts. If you’re anything like we are, you know that cast iron just elevates the flavor of meats so much. The drip pan is a necessity so your grill doesn’t become a huge mess. It keeps all of your meat juices in one place for easy clean up. It’s also perfect for steaming vegetables; we love a steak, potato, and grilled veggies night!

Newair Luma Infrared Grill Settings and Features

Since this grill is electric, you’ll never have to worry about whether you have propane or charcoal on hand. You just need a dedicated electrical socket and you’re good to get grilling! The knob on the front of the grill is your temperature control; it turns and can be pushed to lock in temps up to 1450°F. The screen will display your temperature and cooking time. Despite the high temperatures, the exterior of this grill remains room temperature so you can feel safe using it indoors, or out on a patio, or in your backyard-anywhere you’d like to cook!

As you can see, our menu for the upcoming week features a few different meals that we will use our Newair Luma Electric Steak Grill to make! Even though we’re expecting half a foot of snow, we’ll be able to grill steak, chicken, and steam vegetables in the comfort of our kitchen. I love having this option and to be honest, it’s also much easier for me than hauling our grill outside, getting it heated up, and then watching and waiting for our food to be done!

Mother’s Day and Father’s Day will be here before we know it and I think this grill would make the perfect gift!
