Thanks to Superfeet for sending me these insoles! As always, all opinions are my own. There are affiliate links in this post.
Last year my husband ran a marathon for the first time! Since completing it, he’s decided that it was probably also his last marathon, but still-pretty impressive. One of the reasons he decided not to do another marathon is that he had lots of issues with his feet while training. He developed pain in one of his Achilles tendons and also experienced plantar fasciitis for the first time in his life. Luckily, he’s found a lot of improvement in both of these since he stopped training so hard, but I think a lot of it also has to do with his new Superfeet insoles.
Superfeet Insoles
Why Superfeet over other brands of insoles? First of all, they have decades of experience in podiatric medicine. Second, they use Innovative materials like carbon fiber and cutting edge technology (like 3-D printing!) to design the Superfeet shape. Their insoles are perfectly contoured to hug your arches and cradle your heels, for hiking or hockey, running marathons, or running errands.
For my husband, I went with the Casual Pain Relief insoles. I chose these because they’re specifically designed orthotic inserts that help with heel pain and plantar fasciitis. They provide a medium-high arch and are designed to stabilize your heel, raise your arch, and can even help alleviate knee pain (which, coincidentally, my husband also suffers from). You can cut these insoles to fit your shoes, and they even have moisture-wicking properties to keep your feet smelling fresh. So far, Tyler is really liking these insoles and I’m happy he’s no longer complaining about foot pain on the daily!
While I don’t have consistent foot pain, I do know that my arches have dropped considerably since having kids. I thought using insoles might help with that issue and just provide me more cushion and comfort overall. I’ve been trying to walk at least 10,000 steps a day (which can be hard as a stay-at-home mom, especially since the weather hasn’t been very favorable in Minnesota for the past few months). The All-Purpose Support Medium Arch insoles have been great for me the past couple of months! These orthotics redistribute forces to reduce stress and strain on your whole body; I have no complaints about that!
We are both really loving Superfeet and find them beneficial. No one likes to have foot pain, and these insoles can make a HUGE difference!

Hi there! I’m Amber, a 34 year old wife and mom of two from central Minnesota. I love to be outside with my family anywhere the weather is warm (which means I spend half the year freezing). We’re a homeschooling family that loves to travel as often as possible! When I have a spare free moment, I love to read, take photos, and scrapbook. I’m interested in anything that makes life more fun; I also love socializing and sharing about my favorite products!
