Ring Bear sent me a ring for review. All opinions are my own.
I always knew I would get married someday, but I wasn’t the kind of girl who daydreamed about my wedding in detail from the time I was little. I was never interested enough in the small details to even consider most of them when I was younger. However, one of the few details that I did always have in mind, was my wedding bands!
I don’t entirely know why, but I have just always loved classic plain gold wedding rings that coordinate. I knew I wanted my husbands to be thicker and mine to be thinner, but them to otherwise match.
My engagement ring is a 2MM knife-edge band, so I want to keep my wedding band quite small. I am planning a 2MM beveled band for myself. I wanted Ryan’s to be noticeably thicker, without seeming “over the top” thick. We saw some 6mm bands and some 3mm bands and the former seemed too thick for our preferences, and the latter seemed to narrow. I wasn’t sure if we’d want a 4mm or 5mm band, so when I saw that Ring Bear offered a Classic 4.5mm Gold men’s wedding band I thought that was absolutely perfect!
I also loved how they offer engraving. Ryan had my engagement ring engraved with the word “forever” and I wanted to play on that but do something a little different. I decided on placing the day we started dating “(10/26/2007) – forever” on it, sort of as a way of saying from October 26th of 2007 until forever. We are getting married on our 17th dating anniversary this year because we’ve been together so long that our dating anniversary feels like our anniversary and we wanted to keep it. Anyway, I loved that I was able to have that engraved to nod to our original anniversary date from 2007 and also to nod to the engraving he had done on my ring.
It looks so gorgeous in person. It is the perfect width for a men’s wedding band in my opinion. It’s got a gorgeous shine to it (though it does make it a little hard to photograph without getting a lot of reflection!). It looks great and is nice and sturdy. I feel great about choosing this as his wedding band.
Ring Bear has multiple options for gold rings including other classic options like flat bands and striped bands. You can choose from yellow or white gold, as well as from 10k gold, 14k gold or 18k gold. Many of their rings are also available in multiple finishes such as polished or matte.
The classic ring is made from ethically sourced from recycled metals, and Ring Bear plants a tree with each purchase! I love knowing that there are good values behind this company.
They have a range of tungsten rings available which are awesome if you’re on a tighter budget or are looking for a ring that has a different look to it, as some of their tungsten rings come in black and other less traditional colors. Ring Bear also has rings that would be nice for non-wedding occasions such as birthdays or Father’s day.

Such an attractive ring! The engraving option is a great addition. I like that they plant a tree for each purchase too!

I am also a fan of the classic band style. I like what you put for your engravings. Very lovely.
What a beautiful ring! I love your choices, and the fact that you can engrave them is so perfect. I would definitely consider ordering from this company. It sounds like they have something for everyone.
