‘Many thanks to Pinnacle Peak Pictures for providing a sample viewing of Go Watch: God’s Not Dead: In God We Trust for this review. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.
I’m super excited to share a new movie you’re not going to want to miss. ‘God’s Not Dead’ is the most successful faith franchise of all time and I still remember how powerful that very first movie was when my husband and I saw it in theaters. The movies that followed are pretty amazing, must watch films too!

We are all aware of the turmoil of these times. And this film is more crucial than ever, especially during this 2024 election year. Thanks to ‘God’s Not Dead: In God We Trust’, it’s easier to be part of the conversation that’s igniting hearts and minds everywhere. This is more than a movie; it’s a movement!
Inspirational And Powerful Story
Amid political and spiritual turmoil, Reverend David Hill steps up to run for Congress after an incumbent’s sudden death. Battling against Peter Kane, who aims to erase religion from policy, David’s fight becomes a beacon of hope and optimism for people seeking moral leadership in a divided world.
This brand new film is engaging, featuring a captivating story delivered by a renowned cast. It’s a movie that keeps the whole family entertained while allowing family and friends to discuss how to engage in this current political climate with courage. Most importantly, this film helps demonstrate how Christians should be optimistic, excited, and even hopeful about the future — OUR FUTURE!
It’s safe to say this film is uplifting and relevant in this day and age, just like Mr. Smith Goes to Washington was 85 years ago in that Pastor Dave approaches politics with moral courage, he loves his country, stands up to corruption, and represents the principles that made America great and continue to make America great.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.
