I love furniture shopping but don’t necessarily love the price tags that usually go with it.  Walking around furniture stores is fun to me.  I enjoy seeing all the different pieces, arrangement ideas, ways to style, and options available. When I find something that really catches my eye, I tend to jump online to see if I can find something similar for a better price.  Time after time, that search has saved me money!  And once again, that exploration led me to VASAGLE’s Amazon Store.

VASAGLE Lift Top Coffee Table + Side Table Review

We recently made some new changes to our living room and game room areas.  Those changes included moving our sectional into the family game room space and purchasing a new sofa for what is now our more formal living room.  Well, the round VASAGLE coffee table we had in our main living room needed to go with the couch so that left us with a wide opening in the center of our new furniture.  So I went shopping and found that I loved the rectangular coffee tables that have a rise-up top.  This feature creates a great work space while looking like a ‘normal’ table when not opened.  Plus, it has storage inside! 

Assembly:

Both the lift top coffee table as well as side table were quite easy to put together.  The side table took my oldest son just a few minutes while the coffee table took my husband and son about 30 minutes.  And, of course, they had a couple very helpful toddlers in the mix!

The Coffee Table

I am seriously amazed at how heavy and sturdy this coffee table is!  The value for the price is top notch. The wood and iron mixture truly makes this a statement piece that flows well with other furniture.

I also really appreciate the lift top design.  Just raise the top panel of this coffee table by lifting and pulling up and it goes from 19.3 inches to 24.4 inches.  This makes it easy to work from home, enjoy a meal, do crafts, or play games while sitting comfortably on the couch.

Another bonus of having the lift style top is the hidden storage inside.  We are keeping our Bibles inside as we do family Bible time every evening and this keeps them close at hand for us.

I really like the shelf style on the bottom as well.  It looks great with nothing on the shelves but you can also add decor, or if you have little ones like me; baskets with toys or books.

The Side Table

Simple, sleek, and featuring a space-saving design; this side table was the perfect accessory to place next to the sofa.  It allows for a safe space to place drinks and snacks out of the way, or away from your workspace if using the coffee table in lift mode.

I chose the rustic black and brown to match my coffee table but this side table actually comes in a total of six different color options including: black, white, greige and black, chestnut brown and black, and misty grey and black.

This side table would also work great in a bedroom, office, or any other room where you’re needing some extra storage space.

Final Thoughts On My VASAGLE Lift Top Coffee Table + Side Table Review

Overall, I can’t say enough great things about both of these pieces!  They turned out beautiful and definitely finished off our space well.  We get lots of compliments on the furniture and people are always surprised when I tell them the affordable price point of VASAGLE pieces.
