There are lots of fun decor options available but I was especially looking for things with lights. Our kids LOVE lighted decorations, especially the toddlers. And I found just what I was looking for over on Amazon.
Curtain String Lights: Christmas Window Decorations
We have a picture window in our front room that faces the road and I’ve been trying to find some decorations to spruce it up a bit. Well, this curtain string light helped me bring this window to life with ease!
From unboxing to finished product took about 5 minutes! (Now that’s my kind of decorating! HA!) These lights were packaged well so they opened up easily with little tangling. To ‘install’, I just had to pull the back off the hooks and place on the glass. Then, just hang the lighted string onto them. And tada! All finished.
Overall, these lights are super cute. The stars are sparkly and pretty. The deer in the centers is a great touch too. Measuring about 54″ from the first star to the last, it fits my center picture window perfectly. Cute Snowman: Snowman Christmas Yard Decorations
Then, this cute snowman also caught my eye. I figured he would be a good addition because we could use him indoors or out. Right now, he’s hanging out in the house because the kids think he’s so neat but I do plan to have him migrate to the front yard or porch soon.
This guy took a bit more time in the assembly department. My husband spent about 20 minutes unboxing and putting him together. Made from durable metal wire fabric and the support frame is constructed from rust-resistant metal tubes, it is weatherproof and tear-resistant for long-lasting use.
He also has some pretty cool facial features. His nose is angled up and out so it stands out nicely when looking at him. His smile is also raised, giving his entire face a 3d look. But the coolest feature is the 3d tunnel light. Its visual effect creates tunnels that seem traversable, adding a unique and creative touch to this decor piece. It is so cool that everyone who walks by can’t help but reach out and try to touch it!
Overall, this snowman is lightweight and better suited as an outdoor decoration so it can be staked down. (Stakes included.). While he sits fine by himself, when the toddlers touch him, he tips over easily in the house because I can’t secure him to the ground.
