Gorilla products have truly been a game-changer for all of our home projects. We have an extensive collection of Gorilla products, including Carts, Ladders, Hose Reels, Wagons, and Wheelbarrows. Not a day goes by when at least one Gorilla item isn’t in use! Because I love them so much, Gorilla products are easily one of my favorite gifts for family members.
This year, I had the opportunity to try out Gorilla’s Hand Trucks. I received a 1,000-lb Capacity Steel Hand Truck and a 1,000-lb Convertible Aluminum Hand Truck. Since my Mom and stepdad are constantly working on projects around their house, I gave them the Convertible Aluminum Hand Truck and kept the Steel Hand Truck for myself. First, I’ll share my experience and then pass on my Mom’s feedback.
As you can imagine, with all the reviews I write, I often receive heavy packages at my home. Our FedEx delivery driver has expressed his dislike for delivering to us. In contrast, the UPS driver jokes about it and remains friendly. I feel bad they must carry such heavy boxes up the stairs to our front door. When I learned I would be getting a Gorilla Hand Truck, I left it at the bottom of the stairs to help make things easier for our delivery drivers—even for FedEx.
A couple of days after setting up the Hand Trucks (I still had my Mom’s), I had a furniture delivery. I was away when it arrived, but I found my packages on the Hand Trucks by our front door when I returned, so I assume they were helpful. I used the Hand Trucks to bring the heavy packages into my home. They maneuvered quickly over our flooring and around tight corners, making the job significantly easier. Undoubtedly, our Hand Truck will be used for many packages and other projects around the house!
As promised, here is my Mom’s feedback. “Gorilla products have been invaluable for our yard and garden chores, moving furniture, and helping family and friends, saving us from heavy lifting, back strain, and wasted time. After years of relying on our Gorilla Cart, we were excited to try the 1000-pound convertible aluminum hand truck when we needed to move our old refrigerator. The store we bought the new refrigerator from wouldn’t remove it, so we tackled the job ourselves. Despite being close to 70, we pride ourselves on staying independent. The hand truck was a game-changer; we easily slid it under the fridge, secured it with a ratcheting strap, and maneuvered it out of the house without wobbling, thanks to the heavy-duty casters and tires. The multi-grip power handles made it safe and easy for my husband, who has back issues. While we have another, smaller hand truck, using the Gorilla HandTruck made us feel secure with such a heavy load, and we can’t wait to try it in its 4-wheel configuration for future tasks!”

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
I would love to have the 2-Step Compact Steel ladder. This would be really handy for me to use around the house, so I don’t have to climb on counters to get into high cabinets.
I have a Gorilla 4 ft ladder and I ADORE it!! The steps are wider and I feel so much safer and more secure. And, I can’t say enough about the thought that went into the design! From the part on the top level that is PERFECT for a 1 gallon paint can to the other spots and slots to hold stuff…. Someone was really listening to how ladders like this are used and what would make them even better!!! Love, love, love it!
I run a literacy non profit called Success Won’t Wait. We accept donations of new and gently used books and then put them back out into the community (schools, after school programs, senior centers etc.). This would really be a lifesaver!
We would love the 8 CU. FT. PRO GRADE POLY DUAL WHEEL WHEELBARROW WITH XD STRUCTURE. I love that it is heavy duty as with a big garden we put this to good use.
