We’ve been on the market for an air fryer for the past couple of years but just weren’t finding on that fit our needs as a family of four. When I heard about Midea’s Dual Zone Air Fryer I was immediately intrigued and have found it to be the perfect solution! Midea Dual Zone Air Fryer
The first thing that drew my attention to this air fryer is the fact that it’s dual-zone. That means I can cook multiple things at one time which is super convenient when trying to make an entire meal! The top zone is a basket like you traditionally see on air fryers. It has a pull-out handle and removable inner tray to make cleaning it super simple! It’s a 6-quart basket which is a fairly good size for our family of four. So far we’ve tried frozen veggies, asparagus, spring rolls, and homemade french fries – they’ve all turned out great!
The bottom zone is more like a grill, which is perfect for us because we LOVE making chicken and steak. Did you know you can air fry steak!? Game changer! There is a grilling rack and a drip tray below it. There’s room for a couple of chicken breasts so you may have to make a few different ‘batches’, but the air fryer is so fast and it uses less energy than a full-blown oven, which are perks for us.
When it comes to controlling the air fryer, you have a couple of options. There is a touch-screen on the air fryer itself which is super convenient. Choose from air fry, grill, dehydrate, bake, broil, reheat, and toast! That’s a LOT of options for one kitchen device; it does so much more than just air frying. Simply pick which option you’d like, set your temperature and time, and you’re good to go! If you’re using the top and bottom sections, you can even choose to synchronize your cooking so both will be done at the same time.
Midea offers a free app where you can keep an eye on your meal as it cooks. You’ll be able to adjust everything from the app that you can adjust on the air fryer itself, and it will even send you notifications halfway through your cooking time in case you need to toss or flip your food. The app is incredibly user friendly and easy to navigate; it’s a great tool to have!
The app also offers 50+ recipes in case you need some ideas for your air fryer! Some products we’ve been buying lately come with air fryer instructions on them which is pretty awesome, too.
