We’ve been using bright white LED lights on our Christmas tree for the last few years, but this year, I felt a change coming on—I wanted to bring back the fun of multicolored lights! I decided to grab the Twinkle Star Battery-Operated Christmas Lights. This awesome two-pack set stretches 32 feet with 100 lights—perfect for our tree! The battery box and the lights are both IP44 waterproof, so they work great indoors and outdoors.
What I love most about these lights are the eight modes you can choose from: Combination, In Waves, Sequential, Slow Glow, Chasing/Flash, Slow Fade, Twinkle/Flash, and Steady On. Just press the little button on the battery box to pick your favorite mode, and they’ll automatically stay on for 6 hours and off for 18 hours. It’s such a handy feature that helps me avoid forgetting to turn them off! Side note- Did you know that Battery-operated LED lights use up to 90% less energy?
Plus, these lights are not just beautiful; they’re also really durable. Strong bulbs are molded securely into the sockets, ensuring they’ll last us for many holiday seasons to come.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. I prefer colorful lights on my tree, but I use both outdoors. I would love to have some of these Twinkle Star lights for my front yard. They have beautiful, vivid colors and it’s cool that there are 8 modes to choose from.
I love different colored lights on my tree as it’s what I grew up with. However, since hubby puts the lights on the tree, the gets to choose so it’s a single color green. Sigh.
