Thanks to Kugoo for sending me this amazing scooter! As always, all opinions are my own. There are affiliate links in this post.
Husbands are impossible to shop for, am I right? At least mine is! He always tells me “I don’t need anything”, and then goes out and buys himself whatever he wants when he wants it. However, THIS year, I think I’ve found him the best gift ever, and it’s something he wouldn’t think to buy for himself. Check out the Kugoo KuKirin G4 Electric Scooter!
Kugoo KuKirin G4 Electric Scooter
This scooter comes in one large box and is partially assembled. For the record, the box is very heavy. I was able to scoot it into my entry way but I did make my husband assemble his own Christmas gift – ha! It took him less than 20 minutes and came with a charge so he was able to give it a try right away. It’s safe to say he was like a kid in a candy store as soon as he hopped on! He didn’t have a helmet yet (you absolutely should wear one while riding this scooter) so he didn’t go too fast the first time. That said, he was thrilled as soon as he started riding!
Here’s why I wouldn’t let him ride it very fast without a helmet – it goes up to 43MPH! That’s incredibly fast for an electric scooter! The KuKirin G4 is all-terrain and the 11″ tubeless tires are sure to hold up wherever you like to ride. They’re extra wide for enhanced support and can be used in sand, snow, in the mountainous woodland, in urban areas, and more. This scooter has built-in, advanced shock absorbers on the front and rear for incredibly impressive stability. My husband says it rides like a dream and is so smooth!
The scooter comes with a user manual, but it’s also very intuitive. You can adjust between three speed modes depending on where you’re riding. First gear allows you to go up to 12mph, second gear brings it up to 24mph, and third gear will let you max out at 43mph. The touch screen makes it easy to adjust your settings while on the go.
The Kugoo KuKirin G4 has four built-in LED lights. You’ll find one headlight, two turn signal lights, and a taillight on the scooter. Whether you’re riding during the day or at night, these lights will help to keep you safe and alert other drivers to your intentions. The G4 also features front and rear disc brakes to ensure reliable stopping, even from high speeds.
The 2000w Super Motor is powerful and highly rated. It takes between 10-12 hours to charge fully, so you’ll want to account for that when using it. That said, once it’s charged, it can travel an impressive 43 miles before needing to charge again. Another great feature is the detachable seat option – use it when you need it, and remove it when you don’t!
If you live in an apartment or don’t have a lot of storage space, no worries! The Kugoo KuKirin G4 folds down easily into a compact size. When folded down, it’s just 22″ high and 53″ long.
Overall, this scooter makes for an incredible gift (or personal purchase!). The reviews speak for themselves too; I’ve only seen five star reviews and people raving about all of the fantastic features. Kugoo has some fantastic sales going on right now where you can save $700 on the G4 – don’t miss the change to get your hands on this incredible scooter!

Hi there! I’m Amber, a 34 year old wife and mom of two from central Minnesota. I love to be outside with my family anywhere the weather is warm (which means I spend half the year freezing). We’re a homeschooling family that loves to travel as often as possible! When I have a spare free moment, I love to read, take photos, and scrapbook. I’m interested in anything that makes life more fun; I also love socializing and sharing about my favorite products!

The detachable seat option sounds really useful! This scooter has some excellent features and I love the long battery life.

Wow, I can’t believe this electric scooter goes up to 43 mph! That is both and impressive and scary at the same time. I really like the detachable seat option, I feel like that would be a safer way to ride, while still being a blast. This is definitely a super fun gift idea!
Wow!! This looks cool! Do you ride on the sidewalk or road? Also, if you are riding somewhere I would definitely invest in a lock!
