Mellow Fellow sent me samples for review. All opinions are my own.

If you haven’t heard of Delta-8 before, let me explain the basics. Delta-8 is a type of cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant, that is chemically similar to the psychoactive component found in marijuana (which is delta-9 THC). Delta-8 produces a similar but milder high than traditional marijuana. It’s also legal in all states in the US, including those where traditional marijuana is not legal.

 Whether you live in an area where other options aren’t legal yet, or whether you just want to be cautious with seeking a milder experience, Delta-8 products from Mellow Fellow can be a good choice. 

I was sent three vapes and some holiday themed treats as well!

All three vapes are disposable so you just use them until they run out, and they arrive ready to use, no additional battery needed. Though, if you have a battery and prefer cartridges, Mellow Fellow offers those also! 

We’ve used Green Crack strains in the past and found the Mellow Fellow Green Crack Vape to be an enjoyable sativa strain, so we were interested to see how the Mellow Fellow delta-8 version compared and we felt it was really comparable! While Delta-8 is known for being milder, I didn’t find it to be especially mild so this one I think would be a good choice for people looking for a strong experience.  Another aspect that I thought was worth noting, was this vape is really smooth, it didn’t cause coughing for either of us. This one is also a really good value at 2ml for $19.99.

The other two vapes were of a different style of vape. We requested the Mellow Fellow Grandaddy Purp vape because that was another strain we had experience with. Again, we found the Mellow Fellow version pretty comparable to the delta 9 version we’d experienced from our local dispensaries. This is an indica so it’s really relaxing and great for sleep or relaxation. 

The third vape was a new strain to us. It is called Mellow Fellow Adventure Blue Garlic Vape. This vape had a spinner in the middle so it’s a fidget-spinner in addition to being a vape! This strain is a sativa but it’s aimed at helping give you adventurous energy while also helping you relax. 

When looking at different products on the Mellow Fellow site, you’ll find that they have sliders for each product that show you where they land on different spectrums. For example, there is a gentle to intense scale, a restorative to festive scale, a relaxing to invigorating scale, and a cerebral to physical scale. This way, you can shop the product that most aligns with the effects that you’re interested in most. Here is the scale or the Blue Garlic vape. 

The edibles that we were sent were holiday themed, so my apologies for taking too long to get this review up as they are no longer for sale. Getting married in late October and then jumping straight into our 6-week long holiday gift guide left me extra drained this year! So, I’ve been slow getting back in the saddle for the start of 2025. However, we found these gummies to be fun flavors and the affects we experienced were nice, too! So based on this, we’d confidently recommend their other edible products as well.
