Enter the Aaoyun AOY-320 Portable Power Station, a newcomer to the outdoor energy market that promises to eliminate power anxiety once and for all.

The unit itself features a distinctive black body with vibrant orange accents that make it pop – particularly the comfortable ergonomic handle that arches across the top. At 7.1 pounds, it hits a sweet spot between substantial and portable; light enough to carry one-handed without strain, yet heavy enough to feel like it houses serious power. The Aaoyun AOY-320 strikes a balance between capacity and portability that makes it suitable for weekend adventures rather than extended off-grid living. The heart of this unit is its 296Wh lithium battery pack paired with a 300W pure sine wave inverter. This configuration provides stable power that’s safe for sensitive electronics while remaining compact.
At 7.1 pounds (3.7 kg), the weight-to-capacity ratio is competitive, making it easier to justify bringing along on trips where every pound matters. The physical dimensions (125×41×59 inch) create a footprint small enough to fit into a backpack or camping gear box without commandeering too much space.
The port selection is impressively diverse for a unit this size. The AOY-320 features a standard AC outlet that can handle devices up to 300W, making it suitable for laptops, small projectors, and similar devices. The inclusion of USB ports and a Type-C input/output expands its versatility for modern devices, while the 12V/10A DC output handles specialized outdoor gear like portable fridges or air pumps.
Charging options are equally flexible. The power station accepts input from a standard AC adapter (included), car charger, or solar panels (sold separately). The package includes a 65W Type-C fast charging adapter. The camping light offers four distinct modes (Low Warm, High Warm, Low White, High White) with 360° illumination. Meanwhile, the flashlight utilizes a 20W Luminus T40 LED capable of projecting light an impressive 1500 meters. The flashlight includes five modes: Low, Medium, High, Sharp-Flash, and SOS, making it a legitimate emergency tool.
The battery performs for practical runtimes: approximately 5.5 hours for a 60W laptop, 12.2 hours for an iPhone 15, 3 hours for a 100W projector or TV, and 5.5 hours for a mini-fridge drawing 60W. These numbers indicate sufficient capacity for weekend trips or short power outages, though extended off-grid use would require solar recharging or careful power management.

The dual lighting system transforms this power station from a mere battery into a comprehensive outdoor tool. The collapsible camping lantern mounted on the side provides ambient 360° illumination with four distinct modes (Low Warm, High Warm, Low White, High White). Complementing this is the high-intensity flashlight that genuinely surprised me with its power. Boasting a 1500-meter range, this 20W Luminus T40 LED flashlight outperforms many dedicated tactical flashlights I’ve used. During testing, it illuminated objects at remarkable distances and effectively turned night into day in emergency situations. The five lighting modes (including an SOS function) further enhance its utility. This isn’t a token flashlight—it’s a legitimate safety feature that could prove invaluable in remote areas.
The carrying system deserves special mention as well. While most portable power stations include a basic handle, the AOY-320 goes further with removable shoulder straps that convert it into a backpack-style carrier.
