I imagine if we are all being honest, the majority of people have, at some point in their lives, wondered where God is or what he was thinking. To be honest, I’m in survival mode right now. We are currently fostering a kinship placement and the entire projectory was thrown into a tailspin last week because of our new social worker who is trying to fast-track reunification.
It’s been extremely hard on all of us… with not knowing what’s actually happening, worrying that the kids will be put in dangerous situations, and just the thought of losing children who were on track for adoption just a month ago with our old workers. “Where are you in all of this God” has definitely been on repeat for me this past week. I pray God’s glory and redemption will be seen here.
Movie Synopsis: I Am Living Proof

I Am Living Proof is a compelling and intimate look into the lives of three individuals who face an extraordinary life-altering event. Bri, once a promising student, finds her academic dreams derailed by an illness that’s deteriorating her body. For seven years, she’s caught in a cycle of failed medical treatments and excruciating pain; pushing her toward assisted suicide. Steve’s life spirals out of control after a workplace accident leaves him dependent on opioids. Jobless and desperate, he attempts to end it all with an overdose. Mary, a mother of five, faces debilitating pain from a spinal injury that leaves her unable to care for her children—until a vivid dream sparks an unexpected turning point.
Watch The Official Trailer
In the summer of 2022, thousands gathered under a revival tent in Colorado Springs as churches across the community joined forces to host renowned evangelist Mario Murillo. Among the countless testimonies of healing that emerged, three extraordinary stories from local residents captured the attention of director Bob Maddux and producer Shane Gilbert. These compelling accounts of transformation – each uniquely powerful – demanded to be shared with a broader audience, leading to the creation of this groundbreaking documentary.
I Am Living Proof chronicles their transformative experiences as we together meet the real God of miracles.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.
